Quick start guide claims postgres is supported ( http://www.openx.org/docs/2.4/qsg-install ) so
I downloaded and tried to install openx. Sadly, the database settings page only shows "MYSQL" in the "Database type" dropdown list, and the release notes document states: 4. Does OpenX 2.4.4 support PostgreSQL? No, there is currently no support for PostgreSQL in OpenX 2.4.4. Installing and upgrading from Openads 2.0 for PostgreSQL will be supported in a future release of OpenX. So the question is: is postgres suported? |

Oh, very sorry for that slip in the documentation.
Support for additional databases *is* being worked on, however it is not in 2.4. If you are interested in testing Postgres support, I would suggest coming (in an IRC client) to #openx on irc.freenode.net to learn about setting up in SVN |

Years ago i contributed as a developer to phpPgAds project. What's the way for contributing now? I mean, where is the source repository? sourcefogue project seems outdated.

Hi,
Well phpPgAds is located here: https://svn.openx.org/openx/branches/2.0/ppa/trunk/ The main development branch of OpenX (for current work) is here: https://svn.openx.org/openx/trunk/ There will be just 1 version of OpenX which will be able to support MySQL and PostgreSQL - however I can't really say what the release plan would be for postgres support |
