Hi,
I believe the targeting statistics for a contract campaign should show the number of impressions that a campaign was trying to deliver on a specific day. I have never been able to get any of these targets statistics - always the message: There are currently no targeting statistics available for the period XXXXXXXXXXXX Is this a known bug and if so, can we expect a fix anytime soon? It is difficult to pinpoint deilvery problems as I am unable to tell exactly what the system is trying to deliver. Having this data would enable me to see whether my problems are due to OpenX not trageting the right number of impressions or not delivering the targeted number of impressions. Regards karl |

Hi,
Yes, this is a known issue which will be fixed when a new version is deployed live - we will announce when this happens |

Hi Arlen,
Thanks for the reply. Are we talking weeks or months? I know how difficult it is to put a precise time on these things, but an educated guess would be apprieciated. Regards Karl |

Hi,
This is resolved - however please keep in mind that the Targeting stats screen takes different data than the other stats screens and is much slower to load -- it is best to use a smaller timeframe |

Thanks for the info Arlen,
Is there any documentation which specifies the areas that have been fixed in the upgrade? I am particularly concerned with the contract campaigns as you might remember. Has the delivery on this been improved? Thanks Karl |

Hello,
A list of the most major fixes are here: http://forum.openx.org/index.php?showtopic=503426095 There was not anything completely specific to contract campaigns, however the campaign activation issue as well as general ongoing improvements to maintenance will assist in this |

My question is how do we view the actual target channel impressions? One of our pubs has over 300 sites in their network, so we setup channels breaking up the 300 sites into categories. For example maybe 30 sites were in category A then 58 in category B, so on and so forth. Now we have all these impressions going, but we have no idea of what ads are serving in what channels, just the overall for each zone / banner!?! How do we view which ads are working better in what channels to actually traffic the banners properly?
Thanks in advance! Z |

Hi plahpoy,
I think currently it is not possible as a standard OpenX feature. You would have to use some external plugin which as far as I know haven't been developed yet. |

Ok, let me ask then, what is the point of targeting if you cannot view the stats.

Hi,
Targeting channels are a Delivery Limitations groups. Certain Delivery Limitations are grouped in one Channel. It is a simple limitation of banner delivery. It is not possible to break down statistics against Delivery Limitations right now. However, I am sure it is a pretty wanted feature and will be developed soon. |
