Multi System Upgrade Question Config No Updated 2.4 > 2.6.5, Config on update on web serves Options

I upgraded from 2.4.10 o 2.6.5

I have 1 database server that I run my admin from and 4 web servers with 2.6.5 for banner delivery only. I disable the login for the web server. I also do not allow any customers to login. i manage all ads.

I notice that when the emails went the customer report emails went out last night, the from fields were blank.

I run the maintenance task on one of the web servers hourly.

I upgrade the db server first, then each web server. Since the db is up to date the web server upgrades to not do the db upgrade process. All seems to go fine.

I compare by db config 2.6.5 to my web server config 2.6.5 and the web server config is not upgraded to 2.6.5
the email from fields are missing. so this leads me to believe the configs on the web servers are not updated to 2.6.5 format.

Question Can I copy my db server config over to the web servers and modify them as needed. Will this work? I know I would have to change the config fields for the web server names and add in the db connect info.

Hi bill,

You can copy your OpenX configuration file to other web servers and change necessary data.

Remember that you need to have also your databases upgraded to OpenX 2.6.5 version.
