Hi,
Just today I saw that the banners I am serving to the US are no longer serving as much and the banners for only INTL have taken over on US territory. Anyone experiencing similar problems? |

Hi yes, I have been experiencing the same problems. Posted this to the forum weeks ago and didnt get a response. So now I have to make all my banners national instead of regional. Causing all sorts of problems.

Also seeing this issue on 2.8.7 - geolocation is totally broken.
What version are others using? Be good to get feedback from openx on this, geotargetting is a very important feature for me... |

Are you using your own openx setup? The OP was talking about Onramp. If it is your own setup, then it is quite easy to setup and test geo-targeting, and it works (and has been working) for us for a while. |

Hadn't picked up on the fact the OP was discussing on ramp. I am indeed using my own openx setup, have installs of 2.8.7 and 2.8.8 . In both cases the geotargetted adverts which were previously working fine are now not working. Any suggestions or means of testing more thoroughly appreciated. |

Any suggestions or means of testing more thoroughly appreciated. Create two test banners in a remnant campaign that are targeted to two different geos. Create a zone that contains these two banners. Put its invocation code on a blank page. Test it from the two geos. If you goto the maxmind website, there is a tool/page to check your current IP and geo that it will fall into. |

Went a slightly different route and all seems well once again. Downloaded the free GeoIP.dat from maxmind. Uploaded it to my server and pointed the openx geotargetting module to it. Now all seems to be working again based on initial tests - if nothing else I am once again seeing the correclty targetted adverts for my own location. |
