Is anyone else having this problem...

I have set up a new campaign for an advertiser. When I go to add a new banner, in 'Banner Properties' in Banners, I use the Choose File button to 'Select the image you want to use for this banner', it allows me to select a file as normal, I then add the destination url and the Target as normal, but after I click Save Changes, I see that the file has disappeared.

I have tried different banners so I know its not a bug with the banner.

I have deleted the Advertiser and started again so I know its not that either.

Anyone else having this problem? or can anyone suggest a solution please?

Thanks

I am also experiencing this issue. Glad I'm not alone, but hoping it will be fixed soon.

Hi there,

Look at the "image storage path" for openx adserver is correct, from http://yourdomain.com/www/admin/account-se...ner-storage.php url.

If its correct then might be problem with file permissions. You have to set read/write permission to "/www/images" folder. Try to set 0755 permissions or else 0777 permission. This will give solution for uploading the banners.

Otherwise set correct image storage path from administrator configuration section.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Our banners are hosted on OpenX not our side, so I'm guessing this won't apply?

Thanks, I appreciate your help smile.gif

I found a work around in another forum that seems to work. Try hosting the image somewhere else then use the "URL - Link to an external banner option" then copy & paste the URL there. I've done this and it is working. Another step that is a hassle, but it works for now.

Seems to be working now, try again.
