That would be a nice addition to my forum directory. Sadly though we can only vote once

Oh well. It may be nice if you could add all of them but one at a time depending on position of the vote.

Also, just to add yet another to your list. To have a register validation page, so clients/users can register and then pay for what service they would like.

You can already do Google Adsense ads through PAN and MMM. You just need to setup an HTML banner and insert the code provided by Google.

The only draw back is you cannot track click throughs, but only impressions are counted.

I only mentioned it cos I voted for the billing request and as we can only vote only once.

List Advertisers/Banners
The ability to easily create a web page which lists and displays ads for all
advertisers, all banners, or all campaigns, etc.

I voted for this one because 1) I think it would be useful (it's what I came here looking for) and 2) It would probably be a VERY quick feature to write.

PAN is powerfull to manage advertising campaigns, but it cruelly misses an interface of subscription and sale of advertising campaigns

I hope this option will be available one day.

Did somebody know an "Addon" or a billing/selling script which could be easily integrated into phpadsnew ?

Mambo integration with Billing Integration is a must! Would be the best if a MOS user group had access to PAN and could purchase new ads and upload banners all in one process, Paypal < 2CheckOut.

-> Advertisers can create themself advertising countryside like Adwords
-> Skinnable interface
-> Multi adverting possiblity
-> An api
-> Documentation on the system to select Ads
-> System of CPC and like Adwords

Billing is the one thing thats holding me back from using this. That would be highest on my list.

New Bannertype: Template Banner

Intention: Upload or definie a piece of html code with replacement fields. the ad manager can enter text or image in the fields.

Example:

The Billing Support is very inportant in my book.

Also, it would be nice for small advertisers to be able to fill out a simplified form that creates a campaign and an banner advertisement using one form. If an advertiser is only placing one ad, this would make it easier for them to setup.

I notice it's been half a year since this poll was created. Of course I appreciate phpadsnew is a free script, however I am wondering if there has been any progress at all on the billing integration system? It's clear that most users (all users?) want or need this feature.

I'm not sure. I am at the point where I either need to dump PAN/MMM or build my own interface for accepting payments from customers.

I like the way PAN/MMM serves the banners, which appears to be more balanced than a lot of other systems I've used (i.e. banner frequency is based on campaign instead of individual banner). But I don't like the user interface and how it's organized, and the fact that it doesn't automatically accept payments.

If I write a system to accept payments, I will probably rewrite the whole user interface while I am at it to be more of my liking, and just use PAN/MMM as the backend for actually serving the ads.

I haven't decided yet. The rest of my website is written in ASP, so I might actually create an ASP front end to PAN/MMM so it can take advantage of my existing site login.

But then again, I might just find another script. It seems like most scripts either have a really strong backend, but weak frontend, or have a really slick frontend and a sucky backend. The only ones that supposedly have both cost thousands of dollars.

One thing that really needs to be sorted out in Max to make this easy to do is separation of the code layers, so that it's easy to activate/deactivate advertisers, campigns, etc. from a billing integration module. We're getting there, but it's slow going.

At least with Max v0.3, we have a plugin architecture, so sorting out plugins for different billing systems will be much simpler.

Also, there has been some discussion about this in the Max-specific forums.

Hi,

I would vote to the Time zoon issue since our hosting is with American company and the time diffrences between our time and the server time is 11 hr advance.

So this cause me some problems with starting a campain and ends it.

I hope to see in the next edition a time zoon setup.
