Hi
I guess most OpenX users would want to have an "Adsenselike" tool which would avoid the huge Google tax... Being able to bill directly and easily the advertisers is a good start. Being able to target with text context ads through a keyword system made with complete indexation of the site would be another step and so on. We all want OUR own googlelike ads system :-) That is far from impossible but requires a lot of efforts. I would subscribe for this ;-) |

I'd also like to see customizable demographic criteria - for example: Display a banner based on this visitor being [X] where [X] could be ANY user definable criteria: ie: 1) in the age range of 18-24 2) in area code 212 3) Single 4) Favorite musical instrument is Piano I made plugin which does something like that. You can customize it to your own needs. See http://forum.openx.org/index.php?showtopic=503427870 |

Hi to all, what I am missing is a feature to display unique views - how many unique users has my campaign reached? And in addition to limit the campaign by this. Prioritizing by eCPM is also the future I would say. BTW: The Password reminder does not fit in too much - it is a very quick one-hour feature that should be easy to do. Pavel I can not agree more - this is THE MAIN feature that is missing in this otherwise great product. All features that you listed in the survey are really of no use to most people. So do add unique users counting to your survey. |

First off, OpenX is a great product as is. But, like most great things, there is always a deep desire to make it even better. A couple features that I would love to see (aside from Billing integration and inventory availability which have been discussed) -A "builder" for the weekly advertiser email which allows you to select what info goes in the report, and allows the user to customize the standard language used. Right now, you have to be a PHP wiz to make heads or tails out of it. I want the report to be an opportunity to further "serve" my clients with a weekly message of how great we are, tips & tricks and general news relating to our network. I also do not like the Euro-formatted dates in the report. Can't tell you how many times I get calls from advertisers saying "You sent me a report from April! Says right here 4-9-2009 to 11-9-2009...and November ain't even here yet." Unsophisticated? Yes. But still, they pays the bills. -The ability to add multiple units to a particular zone. On one of my sites, we have a "sponsors bar" down the right side with 30 units 127x34 in size. As it stands, I have to add 30 instances of the invocation code (right)? When I tried that, it brought our site to its knees, skyrocketing load times. It would be so much better if I could just set up a zone, and enter "30" in a field labeled "Number of creative instances for this zone." And, yes, what IS the story with some kind of billing integration? Anyone? Best, M |

Yes, all these features would make OpenX better. Looking forward for next versions of OpenX. regards Ram Kumar First off, OpenX is a great product as is.
